• Standard Permanent Debris Boom – Standard debris booms are built for long-term trash, seaweed, and oil containment in calm to moderate water conditions, including many municipal lakes, rivers, and protected harbors. Marine grade connectors and high impact bolts keep the floating debris boom in place even during active water conditions. Our seaweed control barrier options come with UV and marine growth inhibitors to prevent aquatic plants from interfering with the debris barrier.
• Heavy Duty Debris Boom – Specifically designed for stronger coastal waters and open water near ports and coastal municipalities, this HD Debris Boom uses heavy duty, superior strength materials in its construction. Constructed for durability, the HD floating debris boom uses high buoyancy, double-isolate polyethylene floats with oil-impermeable urethane foam. Developed with added UV and marine growth inhibitors, the debris barrier fabric is made of stronger materials for greater endurance, as well as color stability and UV resistance. This heavy-duty boom also uses half-inch galvanized chain for additional support. Permanent Debris Boom Applications

• Seaweed Barrier - An influx of seaweed and other aquatic plants can affect attendance and the experience at public beaches, recreational lakes, or other water bodies. For effective seaweed and debris control, Parks and Recreation departments can deploy our seaweed control barrier. The seaweed barrier deflects the plants further down the waterway or else can be set up to contain the seaweed in one area for easy collection and disposal.
• Trash Boom - Dams and municipal water treatment plants need to prevent floating debris and trash from entering or obstructing their water intake systems. Debris blocking the ports reduces efficiency and can cost significant money to clean out. Worse yet, if the floating debris or trash gets into the water intake systems it can damage the equipment and cause shut downs.
