Rotational plastic molding is a process that uses heat to melt and mold plastic resin inside a hollow, closed mold. The mold is then placed in the cast with temperature ranging between 260°C – 370°C. Mold is rotated in the oven until the inside is evenly coated with the resin. This type of production is quite different from plastic molding that typically uses pressure. This unique plastic tank fabrication leaves a smooth and watertight interior and exterior. The walls of the tanks have an even thickness due to the centrifugal force created during rotation. Once the plastic cools and hardens, it produces a resilient, sturdy tank. Our strong tanks are able to withstand impact or vibration during use, and last longer than water tanks manufactured using the injection method.
